Sophie & Jack’s story began over a year ago, when I immortalised their engagement, under a pavilion at Balmoral Beach on a wet summers day. From that very first, brief (not to mention adventurous) meet, I knew these two were in deeply in love, and I couldn’t wait for their big day to come at Drumderry Homestead.
Almost one year on, after a flurry of meetings and conversations, back and forth, including the revelation, 3 months out, that their venue had changed. Their date finally arrived.
Thanks to Sophie’s incredible DIY preparation and precision planning (if I only could publish the runsheet), things turned out perfectly.
Their wedding was both relaxed yet heartfelt, there were plenty of jovial anecdotes, hugs and tears, mixed with moments of sheer fun (I don’t often see brides jumping on trampolines). And at the center of it all, Sophie and Jack, displaying their love for all to see.
From a proposal in a rained out shelter at Balmoral Beach to a farmhouse in the Southern Highlands. What a wonderful this journey was.
