The story of Sarah & Ray first began during a serendipitous meeting on the Inca Trail in 2012, before meandering around Australia and across the world to the UK. And it was from there that Sarah and I would begin our email conversations, almost 2 years before their wedding day. The start of a Herculean effort to organise everything despite being thousands of kilometres away. We eventually would meet, midway into 2019, when the two of them flew into Sydney to oversee their wedding preparations. We even squeezed in an engagement session by Sydney Harbour. Their celebration at Adams Peak Country Estate lit up the skies over the Hunter Valley (literally). It also came fueled with enough Buckfast for one enduring party. I was even surprised that despite his steely British demeanour, Ray had a bit of a wild side 😄
