Chantelle & Phil

Despite trying their hardest, there was no denying Chantelle & Phil’s “engagement” party at Clovelly Surf Club was anything other than a wedding. Especially with Chantelle beaming in her elegant white dress, and of course, the big fat sign at the door! The biggest surprise moment of the day, actually came from Chantelle’s aunt, who made an impromptu arrival from the UK. Her appearance delivered with it a rather hilarious dose of shock, excitement, joy and profanity (check it out below).

The howling winds and ominous clouds early in the day threatened to blow us and our balloons away. But the clouds gave way to a mild Spring day. Perfect for the beautiful wedding ceremony that took place on a balcony overlooking Clovelly. The emotions continued to flow into the night, with an unexpectedly emotional speech from Phil, and a daddy and daughter moment that almost got me teary.

Shoutout to the incredibly talented Kris McIntyre, whose awesome voice kept the party going, and Smashcake for their unique wedding cake!
